Refined nail care in Parnell, Auckland
pArnAil bAr House Policy
To ensure a smooth and considered experience for every client, we have established a small number of salon policies.
These guidelines allow us to maintain our standards, respect everyone’s time, and deliver the level of care and consistency we are known for.
We kindly ask that you review them prior to your appointment.
If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows us the opportunity to offer the reserved time to another client.
Appointments rescheduled or cancelled within 24 hours, as well as no-shows, will result in the forfeiture of the reservation fee paid at the time of booking.
With the exception of regular nail polish, we offer a five-day warranty on all nail enhancements, including gel polish, acrylic, builder gel, soft and hard gel, dipping powder, and polygel.
If you experience any issues within five days of your appointment, please contact us, and we will arrange a repair as soon as possible.
Repairs requested after five days will be assessed at the salon’s discretion. Where concerns are not related to application, product performance, or our service, repairs can still be completed; however, a fee of $3.00 per nail may apply.
Our nail technicians take care to check in with you throughout your appointment, including during key stages of the service. This allows us to confirm that you are happy with the length, shape, colour, and overall design before your service is completed.
We also encourage you to share any preferences or adjustments during your appointment. Whether you would like to refine the shape, change the colour, or modify the design, we are always happy to accommodate where possible.
Our goal is to ensure you leave the salon feeling confident and satisfied with your experience.
While our technicians may be able to identify signs of an ingrown nail and gently tidy the surrounding area for comfort, we do not perform ingrown nail removal.
For your safety and well-being, we strongly recommend seeking assistance from a qualified podiatrist.
Ingrown nails can lead to infection and are best treated by a medical professional trained to address foot and nail health concerns.
We are pleased to offer a selection of plant-based nail polishes that are both vegan and Halal-friendly. You are welcome to visit the salon to view the colours currently available.
You are also welcome to bring your own nail polish if preferred. Please note that the full service price will still apply, as our pricing reflects the time, care, and expertise provided during your appointment.
We maintain strict sanitation practices across all tools and equipment used in our salon. During your visit, your nail technician will work with two separate tool pouches. One contains disposable items — including a nail file, buffer, pumice pad, and wooden stick — which are used exclusively for you and may be taken home after your appointment.
For metal implements, your technician will open a freshly sealed sterilisation pouch directly before your service. This ensures that all reusable tools have been properly sanitised and prepared for safe use.
Our team also follows appropriate hygiene protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required, such as nitrile gloves, face masks, and protective eyewear.
Our Health and Hygiene licence from the Auckland Council is displayed at reception for your reference.
We accept a wide range of payment options, including cash, debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and AMEX), as well as contactless payments such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Tap-to-Pay.
If your preferred payment method is not listed, please speak with a member of our team. We will do our best to accommodate your request wherever possible.
